Rent Payments
Rent is due on the first of the month, and is late on the second. Rent may be mailed, dropped off in the drop box outside the membership office or hand delivered to the office. Please indicate your apartment address on your rent check. All Edwards Communities have a No Cash Policy. Personal checks, certified checks or money orders are accepted for rental payments.
Rental Insurance
We require that all members obtain renters insurance. Edwards Communities insurance policies do not cover your personal property for damages caused by accident, fire, flood, theft or other perils.
Accidental Lock Out
If you are locked out of your apartment home after office hours, please call the emergency maintenance line at 614 876-9400 and an Edwards Communities maintenance technician will assist you. In order to be allowed access to your apartment, YOU MUST HAVE A PICTURE ID WITH YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS. Only persons whose names appear on the lease will be allowed access.
Guests
Office personnel must withhold giving our members' apartment numbers or telephone numbers to visitors, so please be sure your guests have this information. We also withhold admitting any person into your apartment without prior written permission. Permission slips are available in the office. If you have a friend who is apartment or plant-sitting for you while you are away, please notify the office in writing; otherwise, if this person becomes locked out, we will be unable to admit them.
Television, Radios, Stereos, Etc.
Please respect the privacy of your neighbors with regard to loud televisions, stereos and radios. If you plan to have a social event in your apartment, please let your neighbors know and ask them to let you know if it gets too noisy. They will appreciate your concern for their privacy and the knowledge that you will not make this a habit.
